In today's digital age, the role of media in shaping public opinion and fostering civic engagement is more crucial than ever. Recognizing this, our project is proud to announce the development of a comprehensive training programme aimed at enhancing the skills of media representatives, higher education (HE) students, and civil society organizations (CSOs) in using mediation as an inclusive method of reporting. We are currently developing seven modules that will be available as Open Education Resources on the project website.
A 4-day international training event will be hosted in Finland during the Autumn, including participants from the target groups in the participating countries. This provides a unique opportunity for participants to learn, collaborate, and grow.
This training programme represents a significant step towards fostering a more inclusive and responsible media landscape. By equipping stakeholders with the necessary skills and knowledge, we aim to create a ripple effect that will positively impact digital content creation and civic engagement across Europe.
